WAZALENDOS FORM TO BE ADDRESSED
Written by Administrator
Thursday, 12 May 2011
Wazalendo have found themselves in unfamiliar territory in the current 2010/2011 premier league after loosing 3 games and drawing 2 winning none. The team manager when contacted by wazalendos media explained that he was planning to sharpen his forward line to enable them score goals as they weremanaging to reach the opponents goal mouth but finishing is suspect. he commented that his back has never been stronger and was only worried with the cautioning they were receiving.

Limo one of his new signings this season had settled well however will be serving his second suspension this season after only five matches. The TM was worried that his midfield has failed to click they was lack of concentration and bringing back douglas in the mid has not helped much. Peter Karanja's employment transfer to Mombasa has caused him to miss three important games which wazalendo lost against Nairobi Simba, Greensharks and Strathmore.

The Seasons has seen Wazalendo miss services of Michael Otieno who moved to Parkroad, Daniel Moi who moved to Kisumu Simba, Chege, Nelly and Simiyu are all out on academic leave, This has left Wazalendo with a slim lineup to choose from having been forced to seek services of 5 new players fresh from school who are having problems adapting to playing surface. Further the KHU has created a full calendar and increased fees of hiring the stadium making it difficult for one to access it for training.

The remaining fixtures for Wazalendo are a must win if they are to survive premiership status as they are currently lying at the bottom of the table n need a win badly to regain its status. The team manager however expressed fear that his players were a target of unfair umpiring and even in the last encounter with Strathmore they felt some umpiring decisions were against his players. He has however cautioned is players to stay focused and continue playing well as fruits shall be sown once his team finds form.

In another development Wazalendo has began its recruitment into academy, young players especially primary school going are encouraged to join training under the very abled trainer at HIGHWAY SECONDARY off Mombasa Road SouthB Estate. one is encoraged to come with full kit as Wazalendo is SELF SPONSORING Club.
